Why "Yahr Complete K9s"?

The original name: I initially chose Balanced K9s in 2018 because I believe there should be balance throughout all life. The word "balance" can be defined as an even weight distribution and a condition where elements are equal. For example, someone who learns to back up must also learn to move forward. They must understand both how to relax and play. So do our pets. We need to learn how to balance our bodies to help give clear cues to our pets to understand what we are asking of them.

The name change: In February of 2022, we decided to rebrand and modify the business name to Yahr Complete K9s; this name change was crucial to allow continual growth. Yahr Complete K9s was born, so we can continue to encompass training for your companion's whole life, from the new puppy who came home to your senior pet who may need help with mobility. The "Yahr" portion stems from my married name, as my family is here to help yours blossom. I still choose and will continue to advocate for positive, force-free, and fear-free training to help you achieve your goals.

We need to support our pets, giving them a healthy life physically, mentally, and emotionally, allowing us to have a reliable pet and live in a peaceful house. Learn to incorporate positive training and fitness into your lifestyle to enjoy living with your pet again.

Passionate. Patient. Persistent. Animal Lover. These are just a few of the characteristics that describe our style. We know all animals are different, and we'll guide you so we can establish your pet's needs and develop a training plan designed for your life.
